Your Proxima model may differ, but the principles are the same for setting one up.

The Proxima has 2 cords, the power cord and the video cord.  Be sure you pack both away back in the Proxima case when finished.
Plug the video cable into the "Computer In 1" as illustrated.  Plug the power cable into the beside the red power switch.
Screw the legs to the maximum height, to be adjusted later, and remove the lens cover.  I place the lens cover underneath the Proxima body.
The video out on the laptop is the female socket next to the wide white one.
Plug the Proxima video cable into the laptop video out.
Turn the red power switch on, it is beside the power cable on the back of the Proxima.  Press the Black Power button on the top of the Proxima to turn the lamp on.  The Ready light will indicate when the lamp is warm enough to use, and cool enough to turn off.

If the computer screen does not appear. on the laptop, press the Blue Function Key (Fn) (located on the left bottom of the keyboard) and the F8 key at the same time.  There are 3 seetings, laptop screen only, video out only, and both on.  You probaly want both of them on.

When finished with your presentation, press the Black power button twice.  This will turn the lamp off.  Wait until the Ready light turns on to turn the Red power switch off.
